Cheap baby gift for mom of (now) 3?
I'm about to meet a friends new baby This is their third and last girl. We're both students on a budget so I'm sure she doesn't expect much. I'm bringing a few freezer meals, but I'm not sure what a new mom would REALLY need. Obviously she has a ton of clothes, toys and gear. I was thinking maybe some hand sanitizer and a nice lotion, with all the hand washing new parents do? I'm 21 with no kids suggestions from parents much appreciated Forgot to add, I want it to be practical, since we're both students and I'm sure they're budgeting hard.

I am going to a meet and greet baby shower and they did not register. I bought a padded cover for a shopping cart & high chair. I don't know the parents. I am friends of the grandmother. The baby is 3 months old.

My sister is having a baby girl in about a month and I want to get her a gift, but not the normal baby clothes or anything. I want to make her something really cute and cool. Please take into consideration that I am 16, so I can't go on a spending spree to buy a ton of materials needed. All ideas are appreciated. I just want to do something unique.
Ideas for baby gifts?
Two of my college friends are pregnant and considering we finish college next week and I probably wont see them for quite some time, I want to get them a gift to give to them before we leave. The problem is, they don't want to know the sex of their baby until it's born. But I wouldn't know what to get as a gift even if I did know the sex. Please help They both already had a child before so they would have the a lot of the stuff like toys and prams and clothes and stuff so I don't want to give them anything more like that. I was thinking something like those memory boxes for their first curl or tooth or something but they're a little creepy. Something memorable though would be nice.

I need new born baby gift ideas?
A friend is due to give birth at the beginning of October and I've decided I want to get them something special and meaningful. I was planning on buying a gift box or basket and filling it with lots of things but I'm a little bit stuck on what exactly to put in. Handmade baby gift help?
I recently found out my best friend is going to have a baby i could not be more thrilled, She and i are both quite create people and i have very often made her girfts, like paintings and scrapbook type boxes books or even just bought quite quirky things. Now i'm faced with a gift for a babyshower, i don't want to get her the generic presents everyone else will bring i want it to be meaningful, somethin she can display in the babies room eventually and keep but my inspiration levels are at a low and wondered if you guys have any ideas? Note The sex of the baby as of yet is unknown so somethin neutral would be good, and nothing like cutesy ducks and bunnies and things Perhaps quotes too? Sorry for a long all over the place explanation.
Good cheap baby gifts?
I'm aware that this is WAY in advance but I'm trying to figure out some good baby gifts from " Santa" that I could get for my child. I'm currently pregnant and my baby will be a month old at Christmas. We don't have any money to be spending right now but I want to get it I say " it" because we don't know the gender yet so please have gift ideas gender neutral a few things that are from me. Does anyone know extremely inexpensive gifts I could get? Also, do you think it's okay to give the baby gifts that it will already need such as bottles and pacifiers since we're on such a tight budget or should I just stick to clothes and toys?Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. What would you like to see in a "new baby gift hamper" present?
I have been thinking about starting selling " new baby hampers" for a while. I have found the stock through various wholesalers etc and have plenty of ideas. Before I purchase the stock I would just like to ask a few questions, on what you would like to see in a gift hamper.Which one of these would you prefer the most?A hamper with lots of baby toiletries like shampoo, baby wash, sponge, rubber duck, nail set.A hamper with lots of special things like teddy, photo frame, photo album, blanketA hamper with lots of clothes like bibs, hats, booties and or scratch mitts, vests and babygrow.A hamper with a mixture of all the above.Also, I am thinking of putting a " little something" in for the mum in there such as box of chocs, spakling wine, luxury bubble bath, is this a good idea or would you prefer all the items in the hamper to be for your baby?I am thinking of doing one for baby boy, baby girl and an un known sex one. The boy will be blue themed basket, the girl pink and the unisex is a wicker brown basket. The basket is shaped like a moses basket with handles, all wrapped up in cellaphane with a bog bow. The basket is unique and can also be used as storage for toiletries etc afterwards.If i do well at these I will diversify into " mum to be" hampers, twins, family hamper etc.I would really really appreciate your feedback good or bad, I am very passionate about doing this, you can see from my previous questions how long I have been thinking about this and before I spend my money I would just like to hear all your thoughts on what you would like if you recieved a gift basket Thankyou

I have started a home business doing diaper cakes and other gifts for babies. If you don't know what a diaper cake is just google it. I am looking for something unique and ideally having something to do with The Wizard of Oz. I'm having trouble thinking something up. I don't want a generic name like Diaper Cakes by Nicole or anything like that. Both because that is boring and I am also hoping to expand to other items so I do not want the name to limit me, Think Oz Any input would be appreciated
