Baby Bed

Question: I am buying a baby bed and mattress out of town from craigslist. i am wondering if i could fit?

Both into my car. My back seats do not go down. Does anyone know approximately the size of a mattress and the frame of a crib or where can I find out? Thanks in advance!

Before going there to buy it, ask the seller first for the size of it.

We bought a toddler bed and mattress from someone on craigslist and they really did not fit in our sedan. A crib won 't fit. You 'll have to borrow a truck or use bungee cords to keep your trunk closed and everything inside! My BIL works for a company that allows him to drive his work van home at night, so he hauled our crib home for us when we bought it.

The mattress would fit but the frame and the sides will not! Ask the seller for the dimensions of the crib, I 'm sure they could easily measure it for you. You 'll need a minivan with fold down seats, or a truck.
