do any of you moms use the soothie bottles for your baby? i bought a pack of 3 for my daughter and they seem to work okay other than the fact that she seems to dribble a lot with them? also, do you know if these contain BPA? i keep hearing so much about that and it scares me.
Do avent baby bottles contain BPA?
I read a lot of hype about Avent baby bottles containing BPA. Then how come on the packaging it says they are BPA free? did they recently change this and are they safe to use? I& 039 m confused. thanks
Is it safe to wash baby bottles in the dishwasher?
I have never used a dishwasher and Im just using it right now I put the baby bottles on the top rack. Also all plastics go on the top rack? I also put jet dry and was wondering if it leaves any harmful residue on the baby bottles. I really wonder if the dishes come out cleaner than doing them by hand....

is bad for a toddler& 039 s teeth? My son doesn& 039 t have bottles during the day and he never gets milk or juice in a bottle. He still gets one bottle of water at his nap and at bedtime and falls asleep with it. At our last pediatrician appointment the doc said that that " wasn& 039 t such a big deal" but that we ought to " work on it." We weaned our son off milk bottles primarily by replacing them with water bottles and that, at least, worked very well. Now we have a " water bottle" attachment issue.So today I put my son down with a sippy cup of water. He cried for ten minutes, which made me very upset, I explained to him that he was getting a sippy cup for this nap and I have no doubt that he understood and was NOT HAPPY about it and then fell asleep. Discussing it with my husband over IM, my husband asked " Do we really HAVE to do this? Is there a medical reason?" I went looking online and could not find one. I am aware of the risks of letting a baby fall asleep with a bottle in their mouth of juice or milk, but I can& 039 t seem to find anything about the risks of letting them sleep with one filled with water. I guess I would like him off the bottle mostly because he& 039 s 20 months old and it& 039 s sort of " high time" , but that& 039 s not necessarily the best reason. I mean, if that& 039 s the only reason, I will gladly deal with whatever parental shaming comes with having a toddler still take a bottle for sleeping, you know?Can anyone point me to a resource that talks about baby bottles with water in them? I know that many people abruptly take all bottles away from their children at one year we chose not to do this on purpose. So comments about how he should have been off a bottle for ages now aren& 039 t helpful. Cheers.
Best baby bottles for gas and spit up?
My son doesn& 039 t really take well to the nipples on the drop in bottles .. I was curious of others opinions of bottles to use.I think it& 039 s the wide nipple he doesn& 039 t like .. He tries to suck but the milk spills right out of his mouth lol

i really hate washing baby bottles. is their some kind of device i can buy that will clean my bottles so i dont have to? the dishwasher doesnt count since i have to wait till it gets full so i can run it so please dont suggest it.

I& 039 ve always loved using glass baby bottles and recently I bought some from momo baby.com , they looked great and seemed perfect, I started to boil them and noticed a 7 stamped on the bottom and asked a question on here about it but then I noticed other numbers on the other ones. Welllll while boiling them I noticed they had a Number 7 recycling symbol stamped on the side and I& 039 ve already opened them and started using them actually. Grr...Has anyone else used these? Heard of any problems or recalls? The company will not email you back and I can& 039 t find anything on google. Thanks
Question of baby bottle.?
I have a 20 months old and during the day he use a slippy cup or a cup.At night of this week i am give him 4oz of milk in a bottle but when he go to sleep i take it a way.I am doing the right thing to take him off the bottle??He& 039 s dr did not said that he teeth are yellow have any problems with his teeth.Would you anything esle diff then what i am doing now?ever week i get less oz of milk then the week before.at night when he go to sleep it fall out of his month.and then when i know he a sleep when the bottle fall out of his month
