You can buy a sterilizer that works in the microwave.

The same way you do the glass bottles. They also sell different microwave sterilizers. They have some that are bags and others look like a UFO.. I wouldn 't use a dishwasher anyhow.

You can boil the plastic ones as well. Read the instructions, usually its somewhere between 2 and 5 minutes. They sell bottle sterilizers but you really don 't need one in my opinion.

You can also put plastic ones in boiling water. Or you mix 1 tablespoon of bleach per gallon of water and soak them for 5 minutes. I never sterilize mine though - just hand wash with soap and water.

Well from what i saw my sister do, you sterilize them the same way you do the glass bottle just only luke warm water, because you don 't want the plastic to melt. Good luck

When we did not have a dishwasher-I made sure that used bottles got washed immediately with hot, soapy water. take the nipple outta the top and wash as three parts. They sell scrubbers that fit inside the bottles. If you are still concerned, I would try the bottles with the drop-ins that you replace after each use. It may be a better and easier route.

You can sterilize them the same way you do the glass bottles. My son 's doctor told me it isn 't necessary to sterilize them after every feed like people use to do. If you sterilize them once then from there you can just wash them in warm water with soap after each use.

You can boil the plastic ones also. However, keep in mind that sterilizing bottles every time is pointless and a waste of time. There is no such thing as a perfectly sterile bottle and unless your daughter has a preemature baby, there is no reason to do it. The only time I 've ever sterilized my now 10 month old son 's bottles was the after I opened them but I havn 't sterilized since he was born and he 's never been sick. Don 't get in the habit of trying to sheild the baby from all germs... it 'll only hurt their immune system in the long run.

There are a few ways, you can: Boil them in water for 10 minutes Soak them in a bleach/ water solution (see the container for directions) Buy a stand-alone steam sterilizer Buy a microwave sterilizer I like my microwave steam sterilizer and it was only around $20. Ignore the folk who say you only use it once, if your baby pops up with something like thrush or a persistent stomach bug you will be using it often.

I bought a bottle sterilizer. you can get them in probably any department store. i love it. it is very fast too. does 6 bottles at once.
