Question: Best baby carrier? moby wrap or ergo?

Both are great, and I have both. My honest opinion is if you have the money to spend then get both of them. The Moby is great for a small baby, newborn to around 6 months. Then it 's not as comfortable anymore. After that the Ergo is great and should take you all the way through toddlerhood. As wonderful as it is, I think it 'd be too bulky for a newborn, even with the insert. So, again, get both if you can. If you can 't swing both carriers then get the Ergo. It 'll give you more bang for your buck. Another alternative would be to get the Ergo then make your own Moby. A 6 yard long strip of cotton guaze or jersey knit would be all you need to do so, you don 't even have to sew it.

Moby wraps are amazing, i would recommend them for anyone.. My daughter will sleep forever in it and she loves being in it.. It is like having a kangaroo pouch.. PLUS you can breastfeed and have complete discreteness while doing it.. BEST MOTHERS DAY GIFT EVER= )

I LOVE my moby and so does my daughter, she is very curious at 3 months old so she doesnt really like her carseat for to long and the moby is great cuz she can face out and look at the world around her

I have a moby and my 19 lb 7 month old still loves it! :) It doesn 't hurt my back at all.
