Moving from minnesota to south carolina - baby carrier question!!?

Question: Moving from minnesota to south carolina - baby carrier question!!?

I am due at the end of May with my second child. I will definitely need a sling/ carrier of some type in order to keep tabs on my very busy 18 month old son! What is a good one for a very warm and humid environment. My son loves to be outdoors, so I don& #039;t want to be a total sweat monster! :) Thanks!

A carrier for the new baby right? I would suggest a moby just because i love mine so much and they are a thin fabric and plus side is you could make it yourself and use a breathable fabric of your choice for the weather. And its pretty versatile with lots of different holds and positions...I made mine out of 100% cotton and can still carry a 28lb baby in it comfortably.... Or even a Mei Tai would work out well its the same principle and they both really distribute the weight very well. Good Luck with the move!

I live in South Carolina and am expecting my fourth child. In the past, I have used a Snugli and a Baby Bjorn because I could never find a sling style carrier that fit me and felt secure (very petite). I just got a My Baby Nest, though, and am very excited about it. It looks easy to use, the fabric is very breathable and I think it will work wonderfully. Try their website, and they also sell them at Babies R Us (online- not sure about in store). Good luck with your move!

I would suggest the Ergo baby carrier. It is great because you can wear your child in the front, back, side, and "piggy back " style. It comes with a clip on matching pack as well and a DVD on how to use it. It even has a newborn insert. My sister takes naps in hers and it is so easy to transfer her to her crib without waking her up! ergobabycarrier.com
