Question: Tomy cocoon baby carrier?

I have recently purchased a tomy cocoon baby carrier from ebay but it doesnt have any instructions. i have figured out how to put it on but was wondering what the best, easiest and safest way to put my baby in it. is it best to put the carrier on and slip my baby into it or to hold my baby and assemble the carrier around him?

Its way easier to slip him into it after you have it on. i have one to. i dont wear it though because it m,akes me feel pregnant all over again.
