How do i get my 6 week old son to sit in a baby chair or swing without crying?
every time i put him down when he's awake he cries i know i probably spoiled him by holding him too much, but i can't get anything done when he's awake because he screams when i put him down. i tried using a baby bjorn but when i put him in that he screamed until he turned purple
Any plug-in vibrating baby chairs?
My 6 wk old son only sleeps in his vibrating bouncy seat. This is okay with me right now, but we are burning through the batteries I saw that fisher price has a plug in swing, but it did not have a vibrate feature. He likes his swing, but since it doesn't vibrate, he won't sleep in it. Does anyone know of a vibrating bouncy seat or vibrating bassinet sleeper or vibrating cradle swing anything vibrating that plugs in??? I would appreciate any ideas

How old was your baby when he she could sit in the Bumbo chair? Noah is 11 weeks and has started being able to sit in his this week not that he likes it at all yet But I have found that it is a great thing to get him to burp and poop haha.

Why do people hate Bumbo baby chairs?
I know they were recalled and now come with better instructions and warnings to keep on the floor but... before I decide to buy them or not buy them for my twins who are 4 months old.. what is wrong with them or what makes them so great?I asked this question on a live journal community and I got nothing but a bunch of mean replies about how they would never buy a bumbo and I was stupid for asking.I am not sure what is the big deal and what makes them so bad or so good to others....Thanks,openmommychat.coma mommys world.com
If you have a Fisher-Price baby chair -- a bouncer, papasan -- that vibrates, how well does that work (more)?
...does the vibration unit turn off after a set amount of time, or will it just keep going indefinitely? Did it at one time turn off after a set amount of time, and did it eventually stop turning off and now it just goes forever?The papasan manual says it switches off after 15min. It did, and it just keeps going, now. I could've sworn the bouncers I have " Rainforest," " Ocean Wonders" ... did the same thing at the start they now just keep on, tho It's not like they've been heavily used, so P to Fisher Price, I say...

I've just seen the advert the one with two toddlers, one in a door bouncer and the other on a bouncy chair . My son is about the same age as the little girl in the blue bouncy chair and I think he'd love something like that It was similar to the old original bouncers that look like a metal frame with fabric stretched across. It had a little seat on it so they could kick their legs and bounce it themselves.Anyone have any idea where to get one? Thanks xx

Vibrating baby chairs are the same as shaking a baby?
All of you get vibrating chairs but are preaching how bad shaking babies is. I dont get this. Isn't vibrating a baby the same thing. What if I put my baby in my lap or on my leg and start shaking it. that is the same as shaking baby. explain yourselves vibrating chair buyers yeah no. I didnt know. when your reading about shaking baby syndrome it never says its a violent shake. it just says shaking a baby causes severe damage in its brain. I suspected it would be like some phsyco really shaking a baby. thats so crazy. I am so worried about the baby. couldnt imagine really trying to hurt it. I cant even put a baby shirt on because I dont want to bend his fingers. stupid little sleeves.sorry didnt know yahoo answers required research. you culd say that to anyones question. do your research. most questions have been answered anyway. just look up an old one. google it before you yahoo answer. who the hell are these people answering my questions anyway?

Thinking about getting a bumbo chair, but wondered if it is worth it? Do they actually like to sit there and not be able to move? Did your babies like them? What age did you start using it?

im 31 weeks pregnant and my friend has a 3 month old baby .. shes giving me alot of advice and telling me things what and what not to do lol starting to drive me insane. but now her baby girl is 3 months old she has brought this bumbo chair to help teach her baby girl to sit up..and goes on AND on about how this chair is award wining number one best thing for baby and how it stops her baby's hips from going outta place because she has been told that when baby's are learning to sit up there hips can move out of place and they wont be able to walk,..i hate the fact she is forcing her 3 month old to sit up with this chair .. i feel its un natural to do this..whats your thoughts based on this matter...s889.photobucket.com albums ac94 yasmine228 ?action view& current babyinbumbochair2monthsold.jpg
Did I read somewhere that the Mumbo baby chair was recalled?
I'm thinking of getting one for my 5 month old. Are they safe? Any concerns other parents have?
