Baby Chair

Question: What are those little baby chairs called that help babies sit up?

They are made of plastic and there is a divider that goes betweem their legs. do they work?

They 're called Bumbo seats. We never had one but a friend did and liked it. I heard they 've been recalled though. I 'd check that out first.

Bumbo chairs or the bebepod. The bumbos were only recalled because stupid parents were putting their children up high, like on tables or something, and leaving them unsupervised. The recall only resulted in bigger warning stickers on the seat themselves. They are safe if you keep an eye on your child.

They are bumbo seats, I think the boppy pillows work personally, and they are good for tummytime and feedings as well.

I loved them. I could sit my little one down and go to the bathroom, take a shower, make dinner. but as soon as they learn to rool over, WATCH OUT!

Are you talking about bumbo chairs? My son loves his but they were recalled because people were putting there kids on tables and they were falling off.

If you are after a plastic one, you want the bebepod. Bumbos are made of foam.

WE LOVED OUR BUMBO SEAT!!! our daughter would sit in that thing forever! the bumbo is made of a foamy solid substance and it slip resistant. we also bought the tray so it would secure her in. the recall was for parents who had no common sense at all and decided to put their 6-12 month child inside the seat on top of a counter and the child fell off....who would you blame? the ignorant parents then decided to sue the company because the seat did not have a safety belt and because the children in the picture on the box were sitting on "high surfaces. " if the picture would have shown the children lit ob fire would those parents have done that too?!!

My son has a bebe pod. he loves it. there 's also the bumbo seat. Our bebe pod is made of foam, not plastic.
