Yes you can buy clothes if you want to. I am 17 weeks and have bought a few things here and there but I have not gone crazy yet with buying stuff. If you don 't know the sex of the baby yet you can either wait till you are about 20 weeks to find out the sex before you go and buy stuff. Or if you can 't wait until then just buy neutral colors like yellow, purple, green, and orange. Good Luck!

I 'm 19 weeks & can 't find out until next Mon. I 've gotten stuff in white (onesies). Yellow & green are good too. Mostly I 've been focusing on buying the major stuff untill I know the sex- crib, basinette, etc.

I bought clothes before I knew the sex, and they were mostly neutral colors. Greens, yellows, tans, etc. Things that are unisex, as in things you wouldn 't mind seeing on a girl or a boy. Now that I know the sex, I still buy neutral colors, although I throw in some "girly " things here an there. I 'm not big into all pink just b/ c it 's a girl...

I would buy gender neutral colors; greens/ yellows.

Id say buy regular onsies that have sayings on them like "party in my playpen ", "mommy and daddy 's alarm clock ", stuff like that uhmmm, get some yellow, green, white, black, red.. neutral colors like that.. congrats!!

Green, yellow, white, black. Remember to check everything to look for trucks or flowers, etc. Sometimes you 'll find a perfect little green outfit with flowers embrodered on the butt. :)

Thats cute, i think thats an awesome idea to buy stuff early, at least you and baby will be all ready, instead of doing it all last min when your huge can be stressful lol, speaking from own experience ha ha.... im 29 weeks and i still dont know what the baby is yet :( so no clothes yet lol dosent wanna show so i just been getting a little bit of bigger stuff, car seat, crib, etc.. you dont know sex yet then just buy other baby stuff every now and then til you find out :D congrats!

Basically anything but blue, pink, and purple..... red, green, yellow, tan, etc.

You should go buy a book about spelling and grammar while you are at the store.....

I 'll be 15 weeks this week and I 've purchased outfits in green and yellows. Those are safe to be worn by both boys and girls! I 'm excited to and can 't wait to started buying tons and tons of clothes..

I am 23 weeks pregnant with a boy and we just went out and bought the crib changing table etc. Its ok to buy now just keep your receipts!

I wouldn 't start buying baby clothes yet..but when you do buy the first couple of sizes...also start with other items needed for the baby..but maybe start saving up money for buying clothes and big ticket items

You can start buying things! I would buy them in colors that can be used for either sex, like yellows, greens and whites. I 'd wait on the pinks, blues, and dresses until you find out the sex. If you do see something cute and want to pick it up, just keep the reciept for later! I started buying things around 14 weeks, too. I just couldn 't help myself. = )

I had quite a bit of gender neutral stuff with my first. But once he was born, I realized very quickly that I wanted him wearing clothes that people would know the baby was a boy. I ended up returning or giving away most of the green/ yellow stuff. I 'm pregnant again and before I knew what I was having, I would buy clothes and then attach the receipt to the clothing. Both Osh Kosh and Carter 's have indefinite return policies so long as you have the receipt. Now I know baby #2 is a boy so I took back all the girl stuff and got boy stuff instead!
