I woudl wait until you are past the first trimester and miscarriage time period. Excitement is great, but it is painful to lose a child and have a lot of things sitting around to make you think of it. Sad to think about but it happens you have 33 weeks to worry about shopping. |

Hey congrats :). Buy them when you want to hunni, there is superstition about the 3 month mark, as 12 weeks is your 'safety zone '. But buy when you want too, your excited and so you should be :) |

It 's really up to you, but I 'd wait until you get the all clear from your first scan. Can you imagine how heartbreaking it would be if, God forbid, something happened and you had all these reminders around. |

I would say that it is too early -- wait until your pregnancy is confirmed at the end of the first trimester. And, keep in mind that 33 weeks is still a LONG time -- even buying things at 13 weeks will make things drag along! You need something to do at 30, 34, 36 weeks and buying baby clothes then, and then you have a better idea of what you need and how much of it you need. If you 're looking to buy things now, remember - there 's a pregnancy to get through before you get the baby at the end - and pregnancy needs lots of things too! Get some maternity clothes, a few pregnancy survival books, a prenatal workout DVD, and focus on getting through the pregnancy first, not just the end result! |

My baby 's gender is going to be a surprise. People are buying unisex clothes for me. If you don 't care either way, then it isn 't too early to buy unisex clothes. If you do want to know the gender, and are picky about not having gender-neutral baby outfits, then waiting isn 't a bad thing to do. |

No, i don 't believe it 's ever too early to but baby stuff, there 's a lot that needs to be bought in the short space of nine months. If something is meant to go wrong with the pregnancy then it will anyway, whether you buy baby stuff before 3 months or not. Maj |

Wait until after 12 weeks, that 's when the risk of miscarriage drops significantly. |

In the begining of pregnancy you dont want to hear wait until the "miscarry danger is less " well you could miscarry at anytime during pregnancy, so go ahead and do it, its exciting and be excited dont let anyone ruin your fun. Enjoy your little blessing! Congrats! |
