You can either use Dreft or All (free clear), depending on how much money you want to spend on detergent. Dreft is a more expensive detergent but All (free clear baby detergent) is comparable in gentleness and cleaning ability - and more affordable. I have used both and find them equally good. |

Well I was using dreft on her clothes and tide on ours. Well she developed a reaction to the tide so I had to switch and dreft is too expensive to wash that much clothes in. So I switches to All Free and Clear. It works really well and she has not had any issues since. |

Have only ever used Dreft..have no problems with it. PS Don 't use dryer sheets for baby stuff! |

Tide w/ Febreeze or Tide w/ Downy both work very well. They aren 't specifically for babies, but my friends and I have all used Tide for babies and its been perfectly fine. Nonirritating for you baby. |

The baby detergerent is really expensive in my opinion. we use dye free scent free detergerent because i have sensitive skin, and i have found that i can use it on my daughters clothes with out any ploblems. we use either dynamo free and clear or purex free and clear--whichever is on sale. |

The best is anything fragrance and dye free. We use Charlie 's Soap. |

The key to buying detergent for baby is to make sure it is free or perfumes and dyes. Dreft and All Baby are too expensive in my opinion. We use All Free & Clear, it costs around $5 and lasts long because it 's concentrated formula. |

Tide Free Dreft has a ton of perfumes...it 's really awful stuff. I don 't know how they manage to market it as a "baby " product. |
