Jen is right. You don 't have to use dreft at all. Matter of fact, my baby was allergic to Dreft. I use All..no dyes &perfumes. Hypoalleginic. |

You can use Purex Ultra Baby or Babyganics (a little more expensive) or Seventh Generation. I also used Woolite sensitive for the baby clothes. |

I used Target 's generic dreft. It works great for my boys and it 's way cheaper! |

I use Purex Free. It does not have dyes or perfumes. You can use any detergent that doesn 't have dyes or perfumes. You just have to use a little less detergent than you normally would. it is so much cheaper to use a regular detergent, than to go and buy Dreft. Hope this helps! |

Nope, any soap/ detergent that doesn 't have fragrance or color is fine. Many of the major manufacturers make color and fragrance free products (Tide Free, Cheer Free, etc.). |

No, I use Ivory Snow-used it since my kids were born-both have mild to severe eczema and it 's the only detergent I use for all our clothes. So I sweat by Ivory Snow |

You can use any detergent. I would just double rinse to make sure I got all the soap out. If your baby develops a rash from the detergent just try a different one but chances are he/ she will be just fine. There is no need to spend the extra money because it says it is for babies. |
