My daughter wasn 't too fond of a sippy cup either. I started giving her a baby cup that has a soft straw(you can get them at target, walmart..etc) and she really took to the straw. It was easier for her to get her milk from the straw than a sippy cup.

She may not be ready at this age. Our son played with his at 7 months but didn 't really drink out of it until 9 months. Don 't push it on her. Just fill it up with a couple oz. of water and let her play with it and get a feel for it. She still has plenty of time to fully drink out of it.

I bought my daughter the NUBY cups with the squishy lids on them wal mart $2... she liked them... and after that i just worked in a cup with a hard top here and there

Yes, You can keep trying, but it 's best to let her pick it up when she wants it! Don 't force her, that didn 't work with my one, he chose it when he wanted too!

Just give her time. i didn 't introduce it to my son till about 9 months and still didn 't want it till about 11 or 12 months.she may not be ready for ti yet.

Just let her play with it. They put everything in their mouths right now. Eventually, she will "get it " that tipping and sucking get her a surprise. If she is supposed to be drinking something (other than milk and formula) right now and you really want to get her off the bottles, you can try the straw kind, as another user suggested and then maybe try the sippy cup after that.

This takes a little time, she is only 7 months. Try another type of cup and just keep offering it to her. When she wants what 's in the cup she will try to drink.

Give it time, she 's obviously not ready for one just yet. Don 't force it.

Try the supersoft spout nuby cups. they are really close to a bottle. Dont ever put milk in a cup, put juice so she knows there is something different in that cup. She will see the cup as a treat. she will gradually like it. just keep offering two cups a day. (atleast you wont be wasting any juice if she doesnt drink it. just put it on her tray for dinner and lunch. etc then fridge it till the next day)

Give her some time yet, she 's still very young. My kids didn 't get used to a sippy cup until they were about 14 months old.
