What is the government program that buys you baby furniture?
A accantience of mine was able to get baby furniture for her newborn from a government program. I have a four month old, poorer than dirt, my husband got laid off and she refuses to tell how she did it. If anyone out there knows what how she did it could really help my baby. She can& 039 t sleep in a bassinett forever.

Where can I find good baby furniture for cheap?
Some " friends" of ours had a beautiful crib and dresser set that was nearly brand new and they had promised it to us...and we find out today that they sold it from under us. We have a 9 week old daughter and are just getting on our feet, so we& 039 re on a budget. It was really awful of them and I& 039 m extremely hurt by it. All I really want is to have her room set up and look nice. so if anyone knows of where we can find nice furniture for good prices, let me know please. I found some decent pieces on Craigslist but most of it is really expensive. Thanks in advance for the suggestions.

Hi, I& 039 m a few months pregnant. Starting to look at baby furniture, mostly just to get an idea of the cost. I& 039 m just wondering, have you other expectant moms bought any furniture yet? What is the best time to do so? Can i just get a bassinet then get a crib a little later? Also, are you buying most of it yourself, or do the grandparents tend to buy alot of it for you?? Is Babys R Us furniture pretty good? It seems to be alot more affordable then Pottery Barn Kids. Did you buy used or new??I& 039 d appreciate any info current or expectant moms have about the topic of Baby Furniture in general.Thanks,Soon to be 1st Time Mom
Questions about Baby Furniture - where/when did you buy?
I& 039 m pregnant with my first baby, and wondering when is the best time to buy your crib and other baby furniture?. Did you use a bassinet and then used your crib, or is it okay to just skp the bassinet and start the newborn in a crib or just let it sleep in a moses basket?? Did you buy furniture at Walmart, or someplace liek Babys R Us, or upscale places like Pottery Barn Kids??I& 039 d appreciaite any advice and stories about your personal experience with baby furniture.Thanks,1st Baby on Board
