Question: Where in canada can i buy baby furniture?

I have just moved to Canada from the UK and i am looking to kit out a nursery ready for baby to arrive in a few weeks. I am having a real problem trying to find places to buy baby furniture. In the UK there are loads of places to shop; mamas and papas, mothercare, argos etc. I cannot find any national stores that specialise in baby stuff. I am in Calgary. If anyone can point me in the right direction i would really appreciate it! |

Congratulations ! I am in Edmonton and I find one of the best places is Toys r Us. Walmart also carries some baby furniture as well. You can also try E-Children, they can be a bit pricey though. Good Luck ! |

Sears carries a variety of baby stuff but they are expensive but very nice sets, babies r us (in toys r us) has some nice ones as well. If there is a big walmart near you they sometimes carry some as well. Im from Ontario so im not sure its the same but worth a shot! congrats on coming to canada youll love it here :) |

Hi, perhaps you can do it through web... I found simplynursery who are selling nursery furniture and i am not just so sure if they fit your need you may check them out. |

I am also in Canada. We have bought most of our stuff through Babies are us (a branch of toys r us), sears, and a variety of specialty shops in my city. You could also look on kijiji which is basically on large online garage sale :) People in your area post what they are trying to get rid of an if you want it you email them and go pick it up. Oh and since you are in a place with an ikea you could shop there too. I love of Ikea, but we don 't have one in Sk... Good luck and welcome to Canada :) |
