Question: White or wooden baby furniture?

Hi everyone. I have a very random question to ask - from your experience which is better - white or wooden nursery furniture? We are choosing our cot tomorrow for our first child and cannot decide - white or wooden. I prefer the look of white furniture, but I am wondering if wooden is better from a practical view point (keeping it clean etc). Any advice? Thanks so much.

We chose timber as it doesn 't show marks as easily as the white finish.

Buy wooden nursery furniture because it is durable to use.
