Question: For those with white baby furniture...?
(Posted by: k9copsgrl on 2010-05-03 07:00:50)
Are you happy you got it or not? I have this idea of the colors of the nursery I want to make (the girls are 8 months old now and I finally get to make a nursery- yeah!) but I get told & quot;oh you don& #039;t want white furniture, it gets dirty, blah blah blah...) So I wanted some opinions. Thanx in advance! here& #039;s an idea of what I want to do.. http:/ / www.roomzaar.com/ rate- my- space/ Nurseries/ For- Ruby- With- Love/ detail.esi?oid=6537049 |

All furniture gets dirty. Only on white furniture you can see it more and so keep it cleaner. We have white cots and wardrobes and they look great. |

I think you should get a dark color furniture because the white or light colors will get dirty with the baby 's. |

I am not a particularly meticulous housekeeper, but my toddler daughter 's white wall unit looks fine to me. Bedrooms only get so dirty... I would not (re-)install white kitchen cabinets, though! |

I do not have white baby furniture ... But I don 't see how it would get dirty. No dirtier than any other color. Get what you want. Decorate it how you want. If it does get dirty that 's what furniture polish and a rag are for. |

My baby 's room is all white. i dont see how it would get dirty? unless the baby is touching everything with dirty fingers. my baby usually just goes in his room when he 's sleeping or when im changing him on the diaper changing table so hes not in his room often... ive had the furniture for 15 months now and practically looks brand new. no stains or anything... |

My daughters furniture is white and it shows a little dirt but not enough to change your mind to dark furniture. it doesn 't get dirty or show dust more than any darker furniture. it will stain easier if something is spilled or something dirty is brushed over it, but if it is what you want for your design idea, go ahead and use white. make sure you really wanna stick with it though because most cribs turn into toddler beds and then some turn into twin beds and changing tables that convert into dressers later so they will be around for a while make sure you really like what you get. |
