Question: One of my clients just adopted a baby. looking for a good baby gift?

My go- to gifts used to be baby books and gift certificates to a good photography shop with a nice picture frame, as everyone takes loads of pictures of their new baby. But now that photography has gone digital, is that still a good gift? What was your best baby gift? Thanks! I walk their dogs. So it& #039;s a farily intimate relationship, as you have keys to their house and sometimes diagnose their dogs with health issues. This particular client went to Europe for a month and their dog had a rip- roaring gum infection that I diagnosed and got treated while they were away. Pet Sitting is strange, because it& #039;s weirdly intimate in ways that some other service jobs are not. If that& #039;s any help here. Re: Announcement: I just got an email that they adopted their 3 week old bouncing boy yesterday! I get the feeling they have been trying for a long time and it just all came together this week. No formal announcements have been sent out yet. |

Since photography has gone digital, then I would go with a digital frame. For a good practical gift, you can 't go wrong with diapers. |

I LOVE RedEnvelope.com they have some of they best unique gifts for Babies. Whenever I have a nice baby gift to buy I always order from their website. I bought their baby blanket with match stuffed lamb for my son and he LOVES it. I 've also bought other gifts for family and friends and they have ALWAYS loved their gift from RE. Their gift wrap is beautiful as well. Always a great gift. Also BabyGap usually has a nice baby shower selection. Hope this helps! |

Diapers and wipes! That was my favorite gift. I had enough diapers to last from newborn until he was in size 2. You could still buy a gift certificate for a photographer. Even with everything going digital, parent 's still love to display their kids in frames on the wall. |

Did this client send out an announcement? I guess the right gift depends on how well you know her. If you did receive an announcement then buy a double picture frame and put the announcement on one side and you can put a note on the other side for your favorite picture. Maybe a gift certificate to Babies R Us. |

A baby sling. It 's similar to the ones for older children were the baby is held in the front. Only with this one you carry the baby in a lying down position. Very good for bonding and extremely useful around the house and when you 're outside. You can keep the baby with you where ever you go. I got one from Target. |

So what that photography has gone digital? We still go to the studio and get pictures done professionally, especially when it comes to our little ones. I think it is a very nice gift! Of course, you can never go wrong with a gift card to any baby store. I would 've loved to get some instead of some fancy dresses that my newborn daughter couldn 't wear. |

If you are unsure and don 't want to buy the "wrong " gift then look at practical items that will definitely be used during the care of a new baby. Here 's a few suggestions: Gift card at Babies R us. After things settle down and the parents adjust to the daily care of a new baby they are sure to need extra items. This will come in handy. Gift basket. You can find many baby gift baskets with plenty of baby care items such as wipes, lotions, burp cloths, etc.. The new parents will need these types of items. Baby Sitting "Gift " Since you are close to the family, you can always offer to baby sit for them to give them a night out alone. The demands of a new baby are great and they may appreciate an hour or two to go out to dinner. Diaper Cake. If you want to some practical baby care items such as diapers, lotions, etc..all wrapped into a unique baby gift then perhaps this would be a good choice. (full disclosure: this is my business) I hope you feel these are useful ideas and will help you towards selecting the best gift. Good luck and best wishes. Candy |

You can get regular picture frames. People still take professional pictures, download pictures to computers and print them off to put in frames, photo albums, etc. |

As far as I am concerned, there is no question... You should buy the baby a plush toy dog. With a collar, and a tag with the inscription, "When I grow up, XXXX will walk me! " It 's cute, something personalized from you, and something that shows you put a bit of thought into the gift. That is what counts. |
