Baby Gift

Question: The director at my daycare just had her first grandchild. should i buy a baby gift?

Are you close to the director? Does the director watch your child much? Or even know your child 's name? I 'd just get a pack of diapers for the new baby unless you guys are close.

Nope. Not unless you are really close friends with her. If your not it will look like its an attempt to suck up to her. You can send her a congratulation card.

Buy some diapers and blankets. Practical gifts for her would be good especially if she is a single mom. And I don 't think it would be "sucking up ' ', I think it would just be a nice gesture to a woman who would probably really appreciate it.
