Question: What is the most inconsiderate baby gift you ever got?

Mine: opened desitin, half a box of nursing pads, stained baby clothes with holes, half a bottle of shampoo and mismatched socks. It was all wrapped up beautifully. I don& #039;t think I hid by disapointment well, it was a close family member who happens to be wealthy

With our first daughter, we received lacey underwear that was meant for a 5 or 6 year old girl...that 's practical.

A bunch of mismatched bottles (some of them ancient) and lids, and a can of formula when I clearly said I was Breastfeeding.

I know what you mean! my SIL has a 3month old son. she went to my baby shower extremely late then gives me a bunch of her son 's used and dirty clothes and a receiving blanket that she used as a rag (i 've seen her using it to wipe spitups and her son 's bum at her house many times). i was really upset because she had unworn NEWBORN clothes her son didn 't fit and she decided to give me those stuff.

A friend of mine got a personalized, embroidered baby blanket from another family member. It even had the baby 's name on it! Unfortunately, the name was wrong- it was a name that my friend had rejected when her family member mentioned it, but the giver was apparently certain that she 'd change her mind! The baby ended up with the name that her parents had chosen- and it wasn 't what was on the blanket.
