Would dr brown bottles be a good baby gift?

Question: Would dr brown bottles be a good baby gift?

(Posted by: T78 on 2010-02-25 10:52:18)

I just wanted to know if the Dr Brown bottles would make a good gift because I thought about getting my sister in- law the set and a few other things to go with it to help make it easy for her to clean the bottles. Although I have never used them so I just wanted to see what the Moms and Dads that did use them think of them and if they were worth the money? Thank You.. Please don& #039;t get wrong but I have heard her talk about them but like she told me she has two kids on the way so I thought I would find anyway to help her with getting a few gifts that she would like but because I never used them and she has not used them either I just wanted to make sure it would be worth the money.

Sure. give a gift receipt just in case though.

No, not unless you know she WANTS them! it 's not up to you to pick out the bottles she wants to use for HER BABY, that 's a personal choice.

Those are what we use and they are awesome!! They would deffinentely make a great gift. Those are really good at reducing gas in the baby 's tummy too. Which that will reduces the chances of colic.

If Dr. Brown 's is the brand of bottle your sister-in-law has decided to use than it would be a fine gift. There are many different brands and styles of bottles so you 'll not want to buy them if you aren 't sure which she wants. They would be a good gift if that 's what she wants. If you don 't know than I would go with a different gift. I am a licensed child care provider in my home. Over the years I 've cared for numerous infants that have used all types of bottles. I did care for one baby that used Dr. Brown 's. It was the best choice for that baby. I can 't say as I would recommend it over any other bottle as other bottles have done the job just as well.

Are you sure that your SIL plans on bottle feeding? (I got bottles as shower gifts from several people, even though I 'd made no secret of the fact that I would be breastfeeding.)
