I loved my Boppy pillow. Also they 're not original, but everyone loves to get diapers. Pampers Newborn Swaddlers are the best! The best things I got were a diaper champ, sleep positioner, onsies (you can 't have too many), zip up jammies, boppy pillow, a gift card to target (for stuff we missed), and a gift cards for take out places that deliver for after the baby came so I didn 't have to cook. That last one was probably the best. I didn 't understand what a God-sent that was until I needed it. Mom 's that already have kids knew I would need it.

Lonestarbaby.com has some cute and original items. There is one here locally, but I don 't know where you are located. One thing I really thought was cool, was this passy that when the baby drops it, it has these little "wings " that cover the nipple so that it doesn 't get dirty. They have trendy babygear. Check it out! :)

I love the Boppy pillow I bought (actually bought it on my own, but would have LOVED it as a gift). It 's the "All is Well " one that is super soft. I use it ALL the time. I also loved the drawer organizers a friend sent me (ikea.com/ us/ en/ catalog/ products/ 90050590 and flickr.com/ photos/ shannonlofthus/ 3947445661/ ). I have them in my son 's chest of drawers and they 're great for organizing socks, onesies and sleep outfits. It keeps the drawers really organized too. The best things we got were both unexpected but ended up being lifesavers! First one was a fleece Halo swaddler. Who wants to swaddle with blankies in the middle of the night every two hours??? Then we got a little crib toy that projects onto the wall and screen and it went for 12 or 20 minutes whereas those Fisher Price ones only go for 5 or 10. We set it on 20 minutes and it put our little one out like a light every time. It was the BEST!!
