Baby Gift

Question: What are good baby gifts for a one year old? moms?

A close family friend& #039;s baby is about to turn one, and we want to get her something special. Anything BUT clothes, please. Thanks!

I know it 's not special, but something the parents will really appreciate is diapers and since a one year old is too young to care about gifts anyways diapers are a lovely gift.

A gift certificate to a Photography Studio. Now that she 's 1 it 's time to do pictures again. Pictures are expensive too so they get put off a lot.

Wooden puzzles with the little knobs that they can take in and out are great for 1 yr olds. about 6-8 pieces. Also, building blocks, cardboard books, her own soft body babydoll, or something with a mirror in it. My 1 yr old niece loves to look at herself in the mirror. You can find books or certain toys with mirrors, because they love seeing their own face and making faces in it.
