Question: Who makes the best (1) baby jeans, and (2) baby hats?
(Posted by: Do your own thinking! on 2007-11-08 08:33:52)
Jeans: should be comfortable and stylish. No twee embroidery; we& #039;re going for a & #039;just- like- Mummy& #039;s& #039; look, here... Hats: should be comfortable and stylish and should STAY ON! With a neck strap, or bonnet- style, I suppose. No polyester/ acrylic. Any suggestions? re. fit: daughter is the long- n- lean variety of baby. Our first Old Navy pair got too short rather than too tight. If you can comment on the sizing, please do! |

I don 't know about the hat, but Gap makes the best baby jeans. Old Navy has some cute ones, but I 'm not sure if you have them in the UK. You may be able to have them shipped. oldnavy.com |

It 's a little more expensive but I 've found amazing jeans and hats at 2 places: the Childrens Place and the Pumpkin Patch. Both have web sites. Old Navy is runner up, and they 're MUCH more affordable. |

Old Navy and babyGap make the best fitting baby jeans. They come in styles just like Moms! I bought my baby a light wash bootcut jean from Old Navy 2 months ago and this month I got her a dark wash pair of "skinny " jeans from babyGap. The Old Navy ones don 't have snaps in the legs so they have to be removed during diaper changes which can be a pain ... But the babyGap ones do have snaps. We don 't buy many hats though --- Grandma and Great-Grandma like to make our daughter hats! |

Jeans. I like Carter 's & Old Navy. Hats: Old Navy has really cute ones or Baby Gap. |

Baby Gap.. my favorite jeans and hats are from there. I am not sure if I have decided to boycott them though, after all those Gap sweat shops were found in India. It 's questionable. The Children 's Place also has adorable little sweaters and pants. |

I would say Baby Gap for both. No embroidery on the jeans. I do find that Baby Gap tends to fit "long " in general. Even their onsies... my daughter always outgrows them for length in the body last. Their hats have the chin strap, and they usually have quite a few styles to choose from. Though.... if your daughter doesn 't want to wear a hat, no chin strap or tie will keep it on. My daughter hates hats, and will only wear it if we are outside and she is distracted, otherwise she 'll have none of it. Good luck! |

Old navy has really cool baseball cap type hats .... the only real one I 've found for a baby .. that actually works like a real hat ..... |

I like Children 's Place jeans and hats. They have all cotton ones (hats) that stay on. For long and lean I would recommend Carter 's. Although my son does not have any of their jeans, I know they do make the clothes longer. |
