Baby Hat

Question: How to knit a baby hat...?

I am a very novice knitter.. but would love to knit a hat for a newborn to be for a friend of mine.. I have about a week or so before they are born... so I need an easy pattern.. any suggestions would be great.. thanks

Go to a fabric store and find a pattern, the people there can help you find one if you don 't know the store well. They have really easy ones, for beginners.

Get a knifty knitter (or similar name) it is a round loom that is like making one of those potholders you made when you were a kid. They have them in sets of 4 at michaels crafts and joann fabrics. They are made perfect size for newborns, kids and adults. It 's a lot of fun and it turns out perfect every time. The set is about 15.00, you can buy the looms indiviiually for a few bucks a piece too. have fun.
