Question: Does anyone know where hospitals get their baby hats?

The baby hats at hospitals in the Houston area are stretchy, but I can& #039;t find any stretchy hats that fit the same way the ones from the hospital do... |

I live in Canada and the baby hats in our hospitals are hand knit by volunteers. If I were you I would try babies r us. |

Drug reps normally. sometimes they are donated. take a trip to your local peds hospital and ask. |

They probably buy them from a wholesale distributor. Maybe you can call the L &D department and see if they can tell you. |

If they are pink, blue, and white stripes, they usually like a tube come in a big roll. The nurses cut off a chunk and tie a knot in the top and then you have a hat! That 's what we 've done in the hospitals I 've worked in. |

Any hat will keep him warm just make sure it fits! Once he 's inside, he doesn 't need the hat. In fact, it may block out the normal noises that he should be getting used to. |

In Romania the hospital I worked in got there little baby hats made from the local shopkeeper down the street. As for you I 'm not sure for America maybe they get them from a thrift store or something. |

I don 't know but I bought some from Carters and Gerber and they fit great when my kids were newborns, I actually liked them better than the hospital ones. Gymboree has some cute, nice ones too Beth modern-mommies.com |
