Question: When to register for baby items?

I hate the thought of registering for gifts (registering for our wedding was miserable and I feel awkward receiving gifts- I much rather give them) but our friends and families are pushing for us to register now- we& #039;re only 22 weeks. I feel like it& #039;s too early. When did you register? When is the & quot;normal& quot; or suggested time to register? Thanks for your input!

Ive already started putting my registry together; although I have it set on private so that only I can see it. I will open it and let it be public once we find out the sex of our baby. I don 't think that it 's too early for you to register. Go ahead! :o)

If you don 't want to register, then don 't. If they keep pushing you then ask them to buy you whatever they want or to give you gift cards. Anyways, you can begin registering now if you 'd like. Or wait a few weeks longer. Depends when you will be having your baby shower.

I think this is the time I started working on my registry. I thought it was good timing, I had enough time to organize it and make changes for the baby shower. I just had my shower last weekend and recieved a lot of gifts..I have to be honest it was a little uncomfortable opening it all. I 'm also a gift giver like you...
