Happiest Baby on the Block - DVD. It 's about ways to calm your baby and is excellent. I wish I 'd had it with all of my kids. |

I could not have lived without a baby bouncer. It was a great place to put my baby throughout the day especially if i had things that needed to be done. Another thing was a crib toy i got that automatically played when your baby woke up crying. I never saw a use for the baby bath tub, all i prefer to use is the sling placed in the bath tub and i used that thing forever lol even when my daughter was 2. Made it easy for a quick bath. I bought a lot of stuff from walmart. |

Fisher Price Cradle Swing - it was such a lifesaver with my first, that I 'm now using it with my second child. Worth every penny. |

When I was breastfeeding, I couldn 't live without my boppy pillow. I also really rely on the big bath sponge for baby to lay on. Its great when you have to sponge bathe them in the first few weeks and then when they go on to full baths. You can fold it and use it in the sink or even just lay them on it in the bathtub in a tiny bit of water. My baby can 't live without her vibrating chair. It looks like one of those bouncers but it only vibrates and plays music. She sleeps in it during the day all the time and it calms her down. I think some people just go overboard on all the big stuff (like swings, excersaucers, jumperoos) so just remember that a lot of babies don 't even end up liking half that stuff so save your receipts! Also, don 't go overboard on any clothes sizes 0-3 months because they grow out of them so fast!! |

I loved having onezies, good if you are in a hurry or if your just in the house. I live in NC so it doesn 't get too cold. Plus one tip I learned and loved was to keep a stash of diapers and wipes in every room or at least every floor level. It 's a life saver not having to run back and forth. The one thing I wasted my money on was a swing, I wish I would have waiting till after he was born that way I would have known he was scared of it. lol I bought a lot of my items online, I found lost of great deals. Good luck! |

The bouncer and the swing were the things I used the most! I would say pack-n-play next. Even though we had a $400 crib, my son always slept in his pack-n-play next to our bed. |

My life saver baby item were Nuby pacifiers. they worked amazingly well, and my daughters weaned from them easily. Pack &Plays. Nobody liked them, even though they 're supposed to work miracles. Nuby is good: nuby.com = ] |

I would say the diaper genie was a waste of my money. I had a changing table in the babies room but when you got a lot going on during the day the couch or bed is just fine for changing and the genie gets full fast, the refills are pricey. I started buying the 1 gallon trash bags for small garbage bins and just tying it up and throwing it in the trash, I get the scented ones and if any odor did leak out the scented bag kinda covered it up. You can get like 50 on a roll at Wal-Mart or the dollar store for a dollar or two. Much cheaper and also small enough to keep in your diaper bag. Those little bags have also come in handy while we have been out traveling when he would either throw up, or pee through his diaper or even get poop on his clothes you can just tie the dirty things up till you get them home. |
