Clothes and certain toys are not a problem..when it comes to bottles, pacifiers, cribs, and car seats I would stick with new..as for a stroller that depends on how "old " and "used " it is. |

When it 's all said and done you will be glad if you don 't waste your money on new. The baby doesn 't care. |

All depends what it is. You normally don 't buy car seats and strollers because they expire, even personal items like towels, bottles, pacifiers ( I would not). You can buy clothes, cribs (just make sure cribs are not in recall), bouncers, and others. |

Anything you can wash really well would seem okay. You would probably want to buy pacis and bottles etc new though. :) there are some pretty good baby consignment shops and there are some pretty bad ones. check them out and you can probably find a pretty good deal on a LOT of stuff!!! really! |

When I had my first baby I had to have everything new, except the crib, which was the crib that I slept in as a baby. I learned fast, with my second baby I found a really neat garage sale and bought everything there. I got enough stuff to last through his first year of life. playpen, high chair, stroller, sleepers crawlers everything except the car seat which I think should be bought new to insure safety. It is really just up to you what you buy but be assured that a baby doesn 't know a .25 sleeper from one that cost 10.00 |
