Baby Items

Question: What do you think about handmade baby items?

I have started a store on Etsy and I started with a few items but I intend to make more. I don& #039;t want to undercut how much I put into things, but I want things to be cute, yet affordable. So what do you think? I will also be adding baby bottle/ sippy cup wraps as well. So is my price reasonable? What kind of baby things would you look for on a site like this? I love hand made burp cloths! A relative actually gifted me with several at one of my baby showers. = ) And the ones you 've made are very cute, and the prices are reasonable. I especially like the shiny blue ribbon one.

These are very Cute!! And ... way under priced. It doesn 't look like your pricing would cover even the cost of materials, much less the labor. Take a look at mine ... unique-babyshower-gifts.com/ save-the-turtles-bambino-unique-baby-gifts.html ... they are generously over-sized and modestly priced, for the quality, and they are also made in the USA. :) Yours should probably sell at least for $9.00 each. I think more, due to the detailed stitching and one-of-kind look. Nice job! :) Best of luck to you!

I 've seen similar items at baby sales priced the same or higher, so I would say the price is pretty reasonable. I don 't find the price to be outrageous for what the item is as is sometimes the case with items like this.
