Baby Items

Question: I've been helping teen moms with baby items they needed but i'm ready to kick it up a notch, any suggestions?

What kind of things can I do to get the word out? What else can I do? I want to eventually make this a huge program.. I decided I should start now trying to grow a little bit.. Should I do fliers? Drop boxes? Try to get some places to donate? I post ad& #039;s on Craigslist telling people about what I do and if they have anything on the way for goodwill, I could take it off their hands.. If you have any suggestions or something, let me know. I want to get this to it& #039;s full potential..

Check out some local churches... they often make donations to needy families, and would be more than happy to help you help others! (remember they are very pro-life, so this is something that i believe they would actively help you out with) they also may have some advice on other things you could try. and way to go good for you! wish there were more people in this world like yourself!

Sorry i can 't think of any suggestions, but just wanted to say thanks to you on behalf of all teen mums out there, i am in england and wish there was someone to help here, i am 19 and pregnant, probably don 't class as still teen mum will be 20 3 months after the baby is born, but i do know that its not always as simple as condoms and morning after pills as the above comment said, as i managed to get pregnant despite being on the pill and taking it religiously. good luck with everything i really hope this does get big cause they need all the help they can get (have you thought about other ways of helping them like someone to talk too, all those hormones flying around with added stress of age and oppinionated strangers, i think it would probably be a huge help to them, just a friendly person they can confide in and ask advise of after all midwifes only tell you so much, it can be a real shock and scarey when you get the other more personal side effects of pregnancy and wonder what the hell is going on lol)

Help teens by teaching them about contraceptives and ways to prevent pregnancy. That would be far more effective.
