hey all just looking for some opinions please , my daughter has just been diagnosed with plagiocephaly flat head syndrome im giving her belly time and alternating her sleeping arrangements , she is 13 weeks and it is quiet prominent , i was thinking of buying a clevamama baby pillow and was wondering if anyone found them any good for treating this condition.thanks a millouise

Hey, my daughter had torticollis tightening of the neck muscles when she was born, meaning she could only turn her head one way. This lead to her developing plagiochephaly flat head syndrome which she is still under going treatment for she has to wear a cranial helmet 23 hours a day . Anyway, I am pregnant with our second child and have been looking at preventative pillows on the market so wanted to know if anyone had tried these? are they safe and do they work? Do I need baby pillows?
We are about to have our first baby. He She will sleep in a crin then a cot. It just occured to me the other day that we do not have any pillows and I cant remember seeing any. Do new babies sleep on pillows or just on the mattress of their crib cot moses basket?

Has anyone used a goi goi baby pillow to avoid/treat plagiocephaly?
I am SO paranoid about my son developing flat heat syndrome, I do tummy time, he sits in his bumbo etc so I know I'm doing all I can to avoid it. I've seen these pillows goigoibabypillows.co.uk apparently in Sweden parents are advised to use a pillow to avoid plagiocephaly, but I'm sure over in the UK we're advised NOT to use one til at least a year. So many doctors say that flat head will go away on its own, but I'd like to avoid it if at all possible.Has anyone used a pillow like this? Or have any advice?

i was at Once Upon A Child 2nd hand baby store about a month ago and saw this pillow that looked a lot like a skateboard ramp. It was a soft slanted pillow so the baby can sleep propped up. My son barely sleeps unless he's propped up and the makeshift slanted bedding blankets folded on top of each other aren't working so well. i've tried searching online but can't seem to find it and i'm pretty sure the store sold it by now, and they only had one. Anyone know what i'm talking about? What's it called and where can i get it?

Baby sleeping on a baby pillow - spinal development?
I have already heard all of the arguments about why a baby should not sleep on a pillow from a respiratory point of view. My baby has been sleeping on a baby pillow since 2 months, and I have had no issues with it. She is now 8 months. I'm wondering if there is any study out there showing the impact if any on spinal development? I guess it can be correlated to sleeping on a soft mattress...any studies on that?There haven't been any good replies to date. Is there any research about spinal development and pillows?
