If you want to prevent plagiochephaly limit time spent in swings, bouncy chairs, strollers, and car seats and invest in a good baby carrier such as a wrap or mei tei. The majority of babies with plagiochephaly spend 4+ hours per day in the devices listed above, of course torticollis also compounds the effects of these devices by further limiting the position the baby can keep their head in. |
