I bought one of those soap holders. You know the ones? They are oval, white and rubbery and have loads of suckers on both sides. It was really cheap and held the plates in place. All the major supermarkets do them :) There are two here: essentialaids.com/ erol.html#1679x0 & &http%3A%252F%252Fgoogle.co.uk%252Fsearch%3Fhl%3Den%26q%3Dsuction+ plate%26btnG%3DSearch%26meta%3Dcr%253DcountryUK%257CcountryGB But both very expensive for what they are! Amazon UK do this one: amazon.co.uk/ Bunnykins-Divided-Suction-Royal-Doulton/ dp/ B001LUVH8W The Bunnikins one is on a few sites, you might be able to find it cheaper elsewhere.

We bought one twenty five years ago for our first baby. We have still not managed to get it off!

Tommee Tippee do an excellent place mat with a suction on it. Just put it on the table and place the bowl/ plate firmly on it. I got mine from Sainsburys for £4.88p! My little boy has tried to remove the plate but as yet has not done it!

Yeah, you can get them from tesco, asda any superstore. I found that in asda you can buy a mat, which sticks to the bowl.. Because i don't know how your child is with eating, but my daughter worked out how you can pull the tag, and it pops off.. Lol she thought it was very amusing!! xxx

I have a tommee tippee mat with a suction bit on it (from Tesco) that you can stick any flat bottomed bowl to.

I did have one of these for my son - one day he managed to pull it off - not sure how - maybe I hadn't stuck it down quite right. it was full of spag bol and as the dish released in his tiny hands th food shot out at an amazing rate - covered me my hubby my son most of my walls and even some stuck to the ceiling! lol - had a pale pink patch on the ceiling for months hehehe not really an answer but your question brought it back to me and made me chuckle - OMG it was such a mess and the shock on my son's face was sooo funny!
