Do any stores sell narrow baby shoes?
My baby is crawling and starting to stand a bit. I am trying to find a shoe that will fit her, mainly to keep her socks on her feet. My big problem is that her feet are incredibly narrow. I went to Stride Rite and tried on every prewalker they had every one of them was too wide and just slipped off her feet. The worker basically told me " good luck" and said I was going to have a hard time finding shoes for her. They have wide sizes, but not narrow. Even the straps didn& 039 t get narrow enough. I really would like some, as she is pulling off her socks and her feet are really cold all the time.she is a size 3The xs, s, m don& 039 t work because her length is too long.She may not need shoes yet, but her brother was walking at 8 months, and I need something on her feet that she can& 039 t pull off, as there is snow on the ground. I don& 039 t want anything with hard soles just something like roobez way too wide that will keep her feet warm.

I really don& 039 t want to have to wait until they are shipped to me, because she wants to walk outside NOW She& 039 s just about walking, and we like to play at the park. Or even some non skid socks that " look" like shoes, at least until she& 039 s really walking outside. I& 039 m definitely going to get some robeez tredz when she& 039 s an accomplished walker.

I got a couple of thumbsdowns for saying that my daughter never had & 039 cruising& 039 shoes and that I kept her in socks or barefooted until she was walking, and then soft soled shoes outside or in stores until she was quite a bit older. Do babies need baby shoes? Why? I was under the impression that it& 039 s best to let their feet grow unencumbered.Libby Can you give a reference as to why they need shoes? Every report I& 039 ve found online has said that they need a soft soled shoe for protection in walking outside once they start walking hard soled being used only when they are very very good at walking , but should be left as barefoot as possible until 2 for the strengthening of the ankle, proper development of the arch, and strengthening of the toes, for all around better walking skills.If you have a reference that says otherwise, I want to see it. That& 039 s what I& 039 m asking for.

My baby is 11 months old today YAY I purchased her some first shoes from Clark& 039 s which were quite pricey she refuses to keep them on and TBH they were very difficult to get on her feet as she scrunches her toes up.However in mothercare they had a cheap pair and i tried on a size bigger than what Clark& 039 s said she was ,they fitted perfect but obviously were to big, as her toes were nowhere near the endThey looked so much more comfortable and her feet didnt look as chubby around the t bar area.Would they be ok ? Would they damage her feet?

Hi everyone I& 039 m just doing some last minute shopping and I really wanted to get some baby shoes. I would only use the soft sole baby shoes until my little one starts walking properly, but I& 039 m not sure what size to buy? I don& 039 t quite think there is any reason to buy shoes for a baby younger than 5 6 months old, would this be too early for them to be wearing soft sole baby shoes?Also, what size was your baby wearing when they were roughly 6 months old?
