It depends how old the baby is. Most infant shoes aren 't made with a hard sole until they 're a bit older because it can inhibit the growth of their feet and cause them to walk bow legged or even walk later than they normally would because of the way the sole sits against their feet, and if you DO find shoes with a hard sole, your child should already be walking before wearing these hard soled shoes. If your child isn 't yet walking it will be very hard to find hard soles. Stride Rite has a very large selection of shoes for children, as well as large department stores like Dillard 's or Macy 's. |
