What brand of baby shoes do you use?

Question: What brand of baby shoes do you use?

(Posted by: Mom2Max on 2010-02-20 08:13:13)

I would rather my son walk barefoot, but he will be learning to walk this summer, and shoes will be necessary outside. I have been introduced to Rileyroos, and think they are adorable!! But I don& #039;t want to be sold on one single brand and not look at others first. I am looking for a shoe with very soft and flexible soles. Another thing I am looking for in them is shoes that will encourage his natural gait. Hopefully not too expensive too. :(. What shoes do you recommend or use for your LO?

As he is learning to walk in summer, it 's best to let him walk barefoot, even outside. His feet will toughen up very quickly and adjust to the conditions much more easily than a normally shod adult would imagine. So do get him well fitting and soft soled shoes, but only put them on where broken glass and other unpleasant things would endanger his feet. Grass and pavement is not a problem though!

Stride Rite are the shoes that I used with my first child. However, with my second child and many more bills later, Wal-Mart brand is what I have been using. But I still love the Stide Rite brand. Stride Rite was designed for toddlers.

My daughter never liked hard sole shoes, so we ended up buying Robeez. They have soft sole bottoms and made out of leather. They are wonderful. U can wash them. My daughter has the same pair now for a year and they still look great, even though we use on them on a daily basis. robeez.com/ EN-US/ default.htm Target has ones like that too. but cheaper. I never tried them. target.com/ Girls-Prewalk-Shoes-Newborn-Clothing/ b/ ref= sc_fe_l_4/ 184-7326320-3503446?ie= UTF8 &node= 1250316011 Babies R Us has them too. toysrus.com/ product/ index.jsp?productId= 4038097 Have fun this summer with your little one. :)

I have to buy Stride Rite brand because my son 's feet are wide. I kept him barefoot as long as I possibly could though. The fit in a shoe is just as important as having a flexible sole. Be sure they fit properly! I go out of my way to a particular Stride Rite location to be sure my son 's feet are sized proplerly. I have had incidents where some clerks (at different branded stores) didn 't know how to measure kids feet properly. Ridiculous.

I love See Kai Run shoes. They are made of super soft leather and are really flexible. They run around $40 but are so worth the money! seekairun.com/

Medical experts worldwide agree that barefoot is best, but sometimes it’s just not practical. So for protection against cold, damp or dangerous surfaces, the next best choice is a shoe that mimics bare feet. Robeez baby shoes are made out of the softest leather with soles that flex and bend with every step. Robeez has baby shoes for just about anywhere little feet go. Check them out at baby-clothes-central.com/ brands

I LOVE Pedipeds!! There Originals version is soft soled while the Flex is for toddlers. My daughter loved Robeez Tredz but outgrew their largest size (Robeez originals look too much like slippers) . I also like Stride rite but prefer Pedipeds b/ c they are cuter and cost about the same. I have also heard good things about Bobux shoes,my daughter has a big foot so we had to return the ones we ordered her but they were gorgeous shoes (leather was soft and high quality and flexible soles). Pedipeds has a new version called MFT or memory foam technology..super cute and comfy! pediped.com/ home/ home.aspx robeez.com/ EN-US/ default.htm striderite.com bobuxusa.com/ site/ index.html
