Question: What's a good brand of baby sleepers (pj's) for babies with big legs?
(Posted by: Yellowbug on 2009-03-21 21:53:29)
My baby fits into her sleepers everywhere except her legs. When I buy the next size up, they are too long. Is there a certain brand that tends to be a bit bigger in the legs? |

I agree with the first answer, Old Navy ones are good but most just for long legs... they are kind of skinny and not to mention pricey for an outfit your daughter will grow out of in a month. I would not suggest gerber, my son has long thick legs and the 3-6 mo. size wouldn 't even fit him when he was 2 weeks old. And he was only 8 lbs at birth. I highly suggest carter 's. Also, I always bought clothes that were a little big on my son since he is a bigger baby and is growing fast. Another you might consider is the Circo ones from Target, I noticed those have wider legs and they are just as cheap as the gerber ones. Good luck momma. (: |

Try the Old Navy PJs, they are in two pieces...they are great even if you have to buy one size bigger because they grasp at the ankle. |

I find that Baby Gap, Old Navy and C.Place often run small..Carters sleepers tend to be long..During the winter,I use gerber flame retardent sleepers for my tall daughter, a 2 pack will cost you $10 so its a very inexpensive option. In the summer, I buy the cotton Pj 's.Depending on the age of your daughter, you can also do a blanket sleeper..we used those up until about 6 months. |

I always went for fire retardant ones and tagless if there was that option. |

The Snugabye brand, because you can fold over the feet to make socks and they are usually inbetween sizes! so this way if you need more room you just not fold the sock part up so much and if you need less fold it up more They 're the sleepers I use the most because they last the longest Here 's their website they 're called the convert a foot and they 're under the infant catagory snugabye.com/ index.php?cPath= 1_20 I buy mine at Walmart, pretty sure you can get them at most other stores like that also though |

My son is a chubby bubby and he has big legs, the best pj 's i 've found that fit him are the bonds wondersuits or the kmart brand wondersuits... there are some phases where he cant fit into any size, when he 's going through a growth spurt, so we just put him in one of those baby sleeping bags pjs... they are the best one, especially in winter |
