How do you change baby sleepwear for warmer weather?
For the winter, we used a light weight long sleeve outfit that zipped up the front with a fleece sleep sack over that. Its supposed to get up to almost 80 here this weekend, and I'm not sure the best way to adjust my daughter's pjs. Should I removed the sleep sack and keep the light long sleeves, or should I put something less like a short sleeve onesie under the sleep sack? Even though it will be almost 80 during the day and it will warm up our house, its supposed to be back into the 40's over night. In case it matters, we have a ceiling fan in her room as well as a portable heater that turns on when the room goes below 70.
What's the best UK online store to purchase 'non flame-retardent' baby sleepwear?
Here in North America, all the baby clothes come with flame retardent chemicals sprayed throughout. As Scientists are now finding that these chemicals never leave the body, this is obviously something we're looking to avoid.Whenever I'm over in the UK I pick up clothes from Next, but I doubt I'll be over there in the next few months and the little munchkin needs some baby sleepers and a grobag.I know the Gap UK does not have a website, but are there a few solid quality brand names that have UK websites that will ship to North America? THanks very much for your help. All UK baby clothes seem to come with warnings to 'keep away from flame' so have to assume no flame retardent chemicals used. If anybody has some history on why that is the case, would be interested to hear it. Thanks.
