How do you change baby sleepwear for warmer weather?

Question: How do you change baby sleepwear for warmer weather?

For the winter, we used a light weight long sleeve outfit that zipped up the front with a fleece sleep sack over that. Its supposed to get up to almost 80 here this weekend, and I'm not sure the best way to adjust my daughter's pjs. Should I removed the sleep sack and keep the light long sleeves, or should I put something less (like a short sleeve onesie) under the sleep sack? Even though it will be almost 80 during the day and it will warm up our house, its supposed to be back into the 40's over night. In case it matters, we have a ceiling fan in her room as well as a portable heater that turns on when the room goes below 70.

In the summer time I put my son to bed in only his diaper a light weight cotton tee-shirt and a very light blanket, for the spring maybe try a light cotton pj's with the zipper only half way zipped and a light cotton blanket or a light knitted one.

Think about how much you wear and dress the baby about the same. Too many Mom's over dress the baby afraid that it will get cold.

It's been 85 here the past few days and in the 50s-60s at night.. We bought a pack of those white short sleeve onsies and then we swaddle her still in a light Cotton blanket and she stays warm but not to warm

I would recommend removing the sleep sack and keep the sleeper, check her in the middle of the night, if her neck and back are really hot then maybe find a lighter sleeper. My son has been sleeping in either just a diaper or a bodysuit all winter we keep our house at 72. I think your daughter should be fine with just a sleeper
