Does anyone know of a brand of baby socks that stay on a babies feet?

Question: Does anyone know of a brand of baby socks that stay on a babies feet?

My baby is 4 mo. and I have never bought socks before, just use what was given as gifts etc. We live where it gets pretty cold and her little feet are cold even in sleepers sometimes. Any suggestions?

I had the same problem with my first. Then I found out what kind to look for. Look for the ones that fold down and have sort of a tight ribbing around it, those stay on the best. I think Carters make some like this and a couple of other brands too. The kind I use for my three girls is Hanes (I found them at Walmart), because they are color coded by size they are easier to match. Although I still find myself checking my newborn 's feet once in a while to make sure her socks are still on, it 's sort of a habit. No socks will stay on all of the time.

Just buy her socks and then put the jammies on with the feet in.

I like old navy 's infant socks. They really stretchy. If you get some that have the little rubber soles, you can turn them inside out, that helps them stay on better :) Gerber makes nice socks.

I use Hanes socks for our baby and they stay on. Also the ones from The Children 's Place. Typically what I find is that socks vrs bootie type things work better....if they fold at the ankle I say they are all good:)

Found some at Target once - they were "kick proof " stayed on pretty good.

Nope..thats why I just stuck to sleepers with the feeties.. Don 't worry about dressing baby up all the time.. By your third one, you 'll look back and think..why was I doing that..

I don 't know of any brands specifically, but I have noticed with my 7 month old that if there is good elastic on the sock where it would go around the ankle, then it will be a good sock that will stay on. Good luck

Try tights...only thing that worked when my kids were little

I put both Hanes and Old Navy infant socks on my twins and when they wake up, the socks are off...I have no idea how this happens. I guess they take them off in their sleep..And the socks always come off when they are crawling.. So, I think there is not a single sock that will actually stay on their feet at this point in time...not until they wear shoes that is..

I had the same problem with my son, until I got the Fisher- Price socks. They are warm and stay on his feet. I got hime the size 6- 18 month ones and he is five months old. I have the newborn - six month ones, but these don 't stay on his feet to well.

Old Navy has the best sock that I could find. I have too bought many socks but you can usually buy them for 10 for $10 and they are great and keep their shape and stay one and they have the size written under the sock for traction.
