I thought the dryer wouldn't eat my babies socks...?

Question: I thought the dryer wouldn't eat my babies socks...?

I was wrong. I have lost so many pairs of his baby socks I have to go buy more. Do you have a hard time keeping track of your babies socks?

Omg her socks are the hardest thing! First of all I keep telling I like the idea of socks that are different colors to match the clothes, but as a blind person it 's just not as easy so I prefer her to only have white socks, but people don 't listen. Second her socks end up all over the partment and I never know what matches, what is even the same kind of sock, or even where in the hell they are most of the time. Lol!

My stepdaughter is 4 and I pretty much consider her socks one-time-use because they disappear so fast...a bought a 10 pack a month ago and I can only find 3 pairs of that pack now

I have a hard time keeping track of anybody 's socks! I suspect the washer of being a partner in crime, though.

I 'm pretty sure at this point my step son is eating his socks. They disappear within ten minutes of putting them on. Its crazy. I started putting buttons on the bottom of his pants and button the socks on to them at one point (with my own little rig). It only worked for awhile. Then he learned to rip them off. So yea, i 'm pretty sure he 's eating them.

OMG yes! I have a 21 month old daughter and a 18 day old son and I loose both of their socks. I know I put them into the dryer but magically, they 're gone! That and now my daughter can take off her own socks so they disappear all the time.

Oh my Gosh. I 'm going to start putting socks in a mesh sack as soon as I pull them off. I have one for these reusable breast pads that i think I 'm going to steal. I keep losing them!! That way when they go in the wash they go TOGETHER! ***Might I add, my husband complained of no socks for the longest time so we bought him socks and now he is good. Now I have bought socks and *I* seem to be the one missing socks! I can 't find any mates to save my life!

The sock monster strikes again. Our dryer has been eating socks for years. My kids socks get eaten too. I guess I just buy a bunch of white socks so that I don 't have to worry about matching them all up.

I have never lost a baby sock!!! How do I do this??? It 's magic. ;) Actually, I always put all the baby socks in a laundry bag to be washed. Then, I never put them in the dryer. I just lay them out flat on top of the washer and they dry pretty quickly. Happy socks to you!

I put all the baby socks, mitts, etc. in a mesh bag, then throw them in the washer with the rest of his clothes. it keeps them from the wrath of our sock gnome (he steals socks).

I don 't lose them in the dryer as much as where ever he pulls them off and leaves them. Cleaning out the car today I found two pairs of his socks. I 'm starting to think that I should just buy all white socks instead of ones that are different colors. That way when I lost two socks I would only have lost one pair instead of two pairs because their lonely mates don 't match.

Baby socks are a regular purchase on my shopping list. We lose them everywhere, especially since my son loves to pull his shoes and socks off constantly. I cleaned the car one day, and seriously found 10 pairs of socks in the backseat. all stuffed under and in the seat....lol.... I swear we must leave a trail of socks behind everywhere we go. I usually have to stash a pair of socks in my purse to ensure I will have socks to put back on my sons feet before going back outside.

For my baby, I fold his socks together before I put them in the wash (you know, how you would fold your socks together before putting them in your drawer). I figure that he doesn 't really get them that dirty, and they get plenty wet and completely dry being folded together the whole time. And they come out together from the dryer and I have hardly lost any of my babies socks and he 's 1 year old!

With my first I used a lingerie bag clipped to the laundry hamper and that kept them all together. Now its just chaos.

Put all the baby socks in laundry bag. Your Daniel is sweet - congrats!
