How do you feel about baby walkers?
I read a book saying walkers slow the development of a child, do you think that is true? My 6m old will not roll over at all, ive tried everything, but she is starting to sit on her own. She LOOVES the walker, so could that be a factor in her not turning over and not yet sitting by herself?
Can 6 months old baby use baby walker?
My baby cant sit unaided yet. And I would like to know if I could put him on baby walker as I have mixed opinion.. Anybody have doctor recommendation studies to back the opinion

My little man is 4 months old and I& 039 m starting to think about new things to buy for him.I either want a baby walker or an activity station where babies sit in the middle and the seat twists round but they cant walk anywhere.I& 039 ve heard some people say baby walkers are not good for them and some people say they are ok Whats your view?

If not why?I want to buy one for my baby, why are people saying its not safe? I think its a bunch of nonsense.
Are baby walkers dangerous?
I have an 8 month old son I encourage as much tummy time as possible and he seems to be meeting all his milestones I have heard from a couple of people that walkers are a strict no no but I& 039 m not so sure. My son adores his walker and I allow him about 1 2 an hour to an hour a day in his. I also encourage plenty of tummy time. He has strated to army crawl, can hold his own weight easily when standing and when I hold his hands he will walk across the floor all be it a little precariously So I dont want to take the walker off him as he gets so much enjoyment from it. Has anyone else heard that they are dangerous? The house it entirely baby proof so he cant grab or pull anything as thye have all been moved. We just clear everything out the way and he has lots of room to run around in his walker and absoutely loves it I can understand that they may hinder natural walking progress if he was spending lots of time in it and no encouragement on his tummy but surely walkers are fine in moderation and with a variety of other activities?

i got one from a friend and my 8 month old loves it, but i hear they are not used a lot anymore and are unsafe...?
Can baby walkers cause bowleggedness?
My exwife keeps telling me that me putting our 8 1 2 month old baby in a walker will cause bowleggedness probably not a word . I& 039 m sceptical, and have asked around. Nobody else has ever heard of this. Have any of you? Is there any merit?

Im looking for a walker for my little girl.The type of walker Im looking for is like a regular walker but the bottom frame instead of being plastic and square like the top, its metal or aluminum or whatever and a circle.I had one when I was learning how to walk like 20 years ago and so I was wondering if anyone knew where I could buy one or if they even still made them that way.For real ? Babies fall down stairs all the time and it& 039 s not really because of the walker...it& 039 s more like parent& 039 s who don& 039 t pay attention.
How do i clean the seat of my graco baby walker?
basically, I found a Graco baby walker in really nice condition and thought it may be useful for when my baby brother tarts to walk.Only problem is it needs a GOOD clean and I& 039 d like to put the seat in the washing machine...however, I& 039 m not quite sure how to take the seat out and don& 039 t want to damage it.any suggestions?

are baby walkers really that bad?? i read something that says it can delay the baby& 039 s locomotor thing.. and also i read that don& 039 t put the baby there for long periods of time.. however my baby really likes to be on her walker and we can put her there when evrybody is eating so we can eat together.. what should i do?
Anyone have the Chicco DJ Baby Walker?
Just wondering if anyone has this baby walker and it has broken really quickly. I have had this for about 2 weeks and all the buttons are stuck already. The noises are all distorted and some dont work at all. Im just wondering if its just badly made or mines just a dud one. My hubby says its probably because my daughter has been dribbling on it but surely it should be made to withstand that as all babies dribble

Baby Walker vs. Saucer bouncer?
We bought our son a saucer and when we were at his 4 month checkup his doctor asked if we got the saucer not the baby walker and I told him yes we got the saucer. He said good b c a lot of babies get hurt from using the baby walker. Is that true?
