All 3 of my daughter use a walker around 6 month. you can try talking to her doctor about it. my daughters was able to sit up by then and also crawl (they 're early crawler and walker too) |

You dont put them in anything like that (walkers, exersaucers etc) until they can sit unaided and are confident at it |

I 'm pretty sure we put our daughter in an exersaucer before she could sit unaided. We did put a blanket behind her to give her added support. She 's 7 and a half months now and sits unaided. We did use her bouncer a lot though...precious planet bouncer...she loved that. |

I put my little girl in hers at 4 months we had to stuff blankets in it to keep her supported but she was done being on the floor and HAD to be upright or her world was over. she loved it and still does. I got a stationary one though the walker walkers freaked me out. She is just now sitting unaided almost 6 months old |

I started putting my son in a saucer when he could hold his head up...around 3 months. he loved it! it gave him more to do than just sit in a swing or chair. the walker was around 4-4.5 months. as soon as he could touch the ground. He is just now sitting for long periods of time. He is almost 6 months now and cruses around the kitchen. |

Don 't use a baby walker theya re not good for children 's development. "The current research has found that each aggregated 24 hours of baby walker use was associated with a delay of 3.3 days in walking alone and a delay of 3.7 days in standing alone " "Another major complication with the use of baby walkers is that they train children to walk on their toes, she said. "Children are propped up in the walkers and their knees and hips are bent so they are walking on their toes, " she said. "This causes tight calf muscles and they can turn into habitual toe walkers. I don 't know about doctor 's studies, but check out my little girl in her walker when she was seven months (she had been using it for at least a few weeks at the time). I think she might have been able to hold herself in the sitting position if placed when we first put her in it, though. youtube.com/ watch?v= S4Je7T7Wd5s She is almost 11 months now, getting ready to walk. |
