My son is currently in the stage where he’s learning to walk as well. We have, through various friends tried out a bunch of different walkers and while he likes most anything that moves when he pushes and that he can stand up on, he has a few favorites. At home, my son has the Fisher Price Wide Tracker Activity Walker that we got as a gift. It’s at a nice height for him and it’s stable enough that he can pull up on it and also walk around it. However, it’s kind of boring in terms of "activities. " My son doesn’t really care about putting the mail in the doors or moving the bugs that are supposed to move. (I’m still trying to figure out what insects and mail have to do with each other.) Also, although you can adjust the resistance on one set of the wheels, we are finding that the front wheels often lock up so that they are not rolling when my son walks, only sliding. At my mother’s they have the walker by Playskool, I think. Again, stable enough for my son to stand on and push, but not too exciting. He only occasionally spins the wheel at the top. This one is a little narrower than the Fisher Price, but doesn 't seem to have the wheel problems. What we are getting my son for his birthday because he loves it at my sister 's house, is the Lightning McQueen (from Cars) push/ ride on toy. It has a handle for pushing that interchanges with a seat back for when the kids are old enough to ride along. My son loves that he can walk around with it (the wheels do go very fast) and there 's a bunch of different things that light up or make sound when you push the buttons. It 's stable and big enough for him to walk along it from front to back or all the way around. |

We bought my son a Fisher Price Stride-to-Ride walker. It starts out as a push-from-behind walker, and then converts into a ride-on toy when he 's older. We figured we 'd get more use out of it if it did double-duty. Frankly, he almost never used the walker, but now that he 's mastered walking (he 's 18 months) and the weather is getting nicer, he does sometimes use the ride-on feature outside. |

The experts don 't recommend a walker for babies. They say it doesn 't allow the baby to use their legs and feet properly. A walker doesn 't help a baby acquire walking skills. Walkers can strengthen lower leg muscles, but not the upper leg and hip muscles your baby will use the most. Studies have shown that walkers may even delay a baby 's desire to walk unassisted, besides the risk of injury. |

11 months old can stand up already and take few steps so he will need a walker that he will only stand up and walk. The one that I mean is I hope you 've seen it already. It is made of rattan. The upper part hugs the armpits so it will make the baby stands up only. It 's like inverted cone. You look from rattan furniture sellers nearby. |
