How many hours did you put your newborn (0-3mths) in baby wrap in a day? Will baby have development problems?
I just started to use baby wrap with my newborn 5 weeks old . I have problem putting her into cradling position as she tends to straighten up her legs and body whenever I put her in. I'm trying to put her in newborn hug hold, which her legs and feet are sort of criss cross. Will it post any developmental problems e.g. feet and legs if I wear her for too long in a day as she is colicky?
How many baby wraps do I need and what should I look for when buying them?
My baby is due on the 10th of March in Australia so it will be autumn.What should I look for when I am buying wraps and how many will I need?Also, how many blankets and sheets will I need for his bassinet? So far he has two blankets and two fitted sheets and quite a few small sheets which we can use.
Can you recommend a baby wrap or sling?
I have a 23 month old daughter and am 37 weeks pregnant with my son, I have a bad back two surgeries and feel the best way to get out and about will be a front wearing sling or wrap for the baby. I am looking for something not too expensive, that works well, is very safe, and looks nice. Any suggestions are helpful. Thank you.

Where can I buy a baby wrap/bath towel with hood that's a penguin?
I have a co worker that's pregnant, and we have an inside joke aboutpenguins. Long story, never mind. Anyway, for a baby shower gift,I want to get her a bath towel wrap that is a penguin design. NOTa towel with penguins printed on it, but a wrap with a hood. I've looked online at Pottery Barn Kids, Lillian Vernon, Target, and Lands'End, and they have frogs, etc. but no penguins. I've made 2 of these before, one was a duck, one was a lamb, but I haven't seen a pattern for a penguin. Maybe if I just found a pattern for a penguin Halloween costume, I could adapt it to be a bath wrap? What do you think? Thanks for your help

I have a sling and it is nice to put the baby into it slip it in car seat and out when I am going places very fast.On the other hand I would like a wrap for around home when I will be carrying the baby around while I work in the garden and home,hiking and so forth.I found that a sling puts all the weight on one side of my back and after a while it hurts.A sling will even out the weight for me.What brand do you like best?Thanks.

My little BIG girl is 5 months old and somewhere around 16 17 pounds. She was 15 lbs, 3 oz at her 4 month check up I have always carried her in the Moby Wrap every time we go somewhere, and we both LOVE it She sleeps and I don't have to worry about her getting a flat spot on her head, being touched by strangers, or being yanked around in a stroller carseat. I was just wondering how long you wore your baby ies ? When did they start feeling too heavy? Did you get a stroller? I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever even need to buy a stroller because she could sit in a shopping cart in most places exceptions being to zoo, maybe the mall but you can rent one there . What do you think?Thanks so much I hate the baby bucket seats too They get left down on the floor and ignored and thrown up in shopping carts, which is very dangerous. They end up staying in them for hours We have a Britax convertible car seat, so it doesn't even leave the car. We brought her home from the hospital in it, and it will fit her until she's 70 lbs.
