For a basic wrap buy any supportive, lightweight, and slightly 'stretchy ' fabric. Most wraps are made from a jersey cotton or a stretch cotton. Basically, you can just buy 5 yards of the fabric. It 's your choice about whether to cut it in half length wise or in thirds. Personally I prefer thirds, but it 's up to you. If the fabric doesn 't fray then you 're good to go. If it does fray, you may want to serge around the outside of it, or at least stitch it down, and you 're good to go. |
