What does the baby like more? What is better for your back? What is easier?

A good quality wrap/ sling/ mei tai/ etc is far better than a Bjorn-style carrier. They can carry far more weight, are more versatile, can be used while breastfeeding, and carry baby properly. The Bjorn/ Snugli types are not good for baby 's spine. I have a Moby D wrap, a Babyhawk mei tai, a Jelly Bean pouch sling, and a ring sling my friend Ashley made for me. They are all very easy to use, and even being 27 weeks pregnant I can wear my 2.5 year old (who is over 30 lbs). :)

Baby Like: Wrap (he/ she can be close to you) Back: Probably Bjorn, I would imagine Easier: Bjorn Bonding with Baby: Wrap

I got the most expenisve Bjorn and only used it 4 times. Infact I am going to sell it here soon, still even have the box it came in. In the end I wish I never spent the over $125 for it. So it sits brand new and collecting dust. I did after the fact try a baby wrap was it felt like I couldn 't trust it not to let go and drop the baby by accident. Arms worked best for me.

A Moby Wrap- hands down! Baby likes Moby Better for back- Moby Easier- Baby Bjorn, but with practice the Moby becomes second nature.

I would say the baby wrap I have one and my baby loves it,makes you feel closer and sometimes I use it when he 's fussy calms him down.

I use a Maya Wrap (it 's a ring sling) and I love it and so does my three month old, Grace. It is much more versatile than a carrier, the sling I have can be used to carry the baby several different ways, and can also be used up to 35 pounds. I used carriers for my oldest kids (ring slings were not around then) so I have used both. Here is the sling I love, love love! mayawrap.com/ viewItem.asp?ItemID= 100003 &UnitCde= 1 &Desc= Lightly%20Padded%20Sling &VendorDesc= &Search= N

I bought a Bubba Moe baby sling. they are really great and you can have the baby in several different positions. really useful while breastfeeding. you are really close to the baby and they are incredibly comfortable. they can be used from about birth to 1-2 years old. cost about $70 australian dollars
