What was your favourite baby gift?
A family member of mine is expecting their first baby. We're all flying and meeting and having a huge family reunion. Baby will have arrived by then I'm trying to think of a gift to give them. It will have to be able to fit into their suitcase. So what was your favourite gift? I would love ideas. Cheap baby gift for mom of (now) 3?
I'm about to meet a friends new baby This is their third and last girl. We're both students on a budget so I'm sure she doesn't expect much. I'm bringing a few freezer meals, but I'm not sure what a new mom would REALLY need. Obviously she has a ton of clothes, toys and gear. I was thinking maybe some hand sanitizer and a nice lotion, with all the hand washing new parents do? I'm 21 with no kids suggestions from parents much appreciated Forgot to add, I want it to be practical, since we're both students and I'm sure they're budgeting hard.

By the time I see the new parents, Baby will be 1 2 months old.
What is an appropriate baby gift for a pregnant 16 year old?
So my fiance's little sister is pregnant. She's 16 and I am definitely not saying what she's done is okay but I feel obligated to get a baby gift for her because she will be my sister in law. I don't have a lot of experience with baby gifts because I'm only 20 and never had to buy a baby gift before. I want to get her something practical and something that she'll actually need since she's so young. I don't know much about having a baby or what stuff you need when you have a baby, because like I said, I'm 20 and I really haven't spent much time with infants. So what's a good, practical gift? I know diapers and wipes are helpful but I don't want to only get that.
My brother is not the father!!!! Can I ask for my baby gifts to be returned?
My brother's girlfriend got pregnant with what my brother and the family had assumed was his baby. They had been together for over two years and my brother had thought she was faithful. When the baby was born, she had different physical characteristics different race that immediately called my brother's paternity into question. He of course requested a paternity test that determined he was not the father. My brother and his girlfriend were both on limited incomes during her pregnancy, but decided to get an apartment together before the baby was born. As a gift to my brother, I basically did the entire nursery for them with furniture and accessories totaling well over $1500.00. After my brother found out the baby wasn't his, he ended the relationship and his girlfriend decided that she would be the one to move. A few days later, my brother came home to find that the nursery had been completely cleaned out and she had taken everything. It wouldn't be a big deal to me if it was just some run of the mill baby shower gift, but the ONLY reason I spent that much money was because it was for my brother and I legitimately thought that the baby was my niece. I'm very angry and I want that stuff back. My brother and I are very seriously thinking of taking her to court. In my mind, the items were a gift to my brother and what I thought was his child, not to his girlfriend alone. On the other hand, I know that the baby is of course innocent in all of this regardless of who her father is and I don't want to take actions that would hurt her, but her real father, whoever he is, needs to be the one to step up and take care of her. Do you all think that I am overreacting or is the return of the nursery furniture worth pursuing? I appreciate everyone's opinion.

What was your favorite baby gift? When my youngest child was born she's 3 now , I was given a frog that has sucktion cups on the bottom so you could stick it to the side of your tub and put bath toys in it I have had it for 3 years and the sucktion cups are still good I use it a lot When I got it my youngest was only 3 days old, my middle child was 4 and my oldest was 9 so it was very useful I Am now pregnant again and it continues to stick up. My oldest is now 12 so is too old to use it. I can still use it for my 7 year old, my 3 year old and will use it for my newborn when she is born. My question is.. What was the best baby gift you got?

I have started a home business doing diaper cakes and other gifts for babies. If you don't know what a diaper cake is just google it. I am looking for something unique and ideally having something to do with The Wizard of Oz. I'm having trouble thinking something up. I don't want a generic name like Diaper Cakes by Nicole or anything like that. Both because that is boring and I am also hoping to expand to other items so I do not want the name to limit me, Think Oz Any input would be appreciated

Is this okay for a baby gift?
Someone I know just had a baby. I don't know her well, but I need to get her something. I don't plan on going to a shower, but feel I should still get her something small. If I crocheted up some booties for her, would that be enough? Maybe two or three pairs?I'm not cheap, but we bought her flowers already while she was in the hospital and I really don't know her well.
